Name, email, date of birth, city, state, profile photo, drink check-in history (venue names, drink names, ratings, subcategories), moment photos and drink photos you upload, captions, and friend connections.
Drink photos and moment photos you upload are stored securely and displayed within DRINQLY to you and the people connected to your account — the people who follow you, and, if you turn on Spotlight city discovery, others browsing drinks in your area. They are never public to everyone, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising.
To power your Drink Story, leaderboard, and venue check-in history. With your explicit consent, anonymized drink and venue data is shared with Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your Drink Personality insights.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever. When you use AI-powered features (Drink Personality, Discover recommendations), anonymized drink data (drink names, types, and venue names only) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Your name, email, phone, age, photos, and location are never included in any AI request. You can opt out of AI features at any time in Settings. Aggregated, anonymized check-in data (no personal info) may be used to show trending drinks at venues.
DRINQLY uses the following third-party services to operate the app. Each one only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function and is bound by its own published privacy practices:
Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) — stores your account, drink check-ins, photos, friend connections, and venue data. Hosted in the United States.
Anthropic Claude (AI features) — receives anonymized drink and venue names when you opt in to Drink Personality or Discover recommendations.
Google Places (venue search) — receives the search text you type and your approximate location to return nearby bars and restaurants. Google's privacy policy applies to this query.
RevenueCat & Apple (subscriptions) — receive your subscription purchase, cancellation, and renewal events to keep your DRINQLY Plus access in sync. Billing happens through your Apple ID.
Sentry (crash reporting) — receives anonymized error logs and your DRINQLY user ID when the app crashes, so we can fix bugs. No drink, photo, friend, or location data is included.
Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address to send account and transactional messages (welcome, sign-in, and account notices). No drink, photo, friend, or location data is included.
Delete your account and all data including all photos and Sip Stories at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Email support@drinqly.io for data export or deletion requests.
DRINQLY is for users of legal drinking age in their country — 21 and older in the United States, 18 in most of Europe and the UK, and the local minimum wherever you are. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the legal drinking age.
