In one sentence

Drinqly is a social drink journal app. You check in each drink you have, alcohol or not, rate it, add a photo and a few notes, and Drinqly keeps a searchable history of everything you have tried, plus a feed of what your friends are drinking and a way to discover new places. It is a journal for what is in your glass, not a store and not a delivery service.

Most of us drink the same handful of things on repeat and forget the ones we actually loved. You order a wine at dinner, think "I have to remember this," and by the weekend it is gone. Drinqly exists to fix that one small, oddly persistent problem: it gives every drink a ten-second home, so the good ones stop slipping away.

What Drinqly actually does

At its core, Drinqly is a check-in loop. You have a drink, you log it, and it becomes part of a history you can search, sort, and look back on. Here is what a single check-in captures.

Check in a drink
Pick what you had, from a bottle of wine to a flat white, in a couple of taps.
Rate and photograph it
Half-star ratings, a photo of the glass, and notes on how it tasted.
Rich per-type details
Producer and ABV for a spirit; roast, milk, and sweetness for a coffee. The fields match the drink.
Build your history
Everything you log is saved and searchable, so your favorites are one tap away.
Follow friends
See a feed of what people you follow are drinking, and a worldwide feed beyond that.
Discover venues
Browse bars and cafes, see what is trending, and find your next pour.

Over time, that history becomes something more useful than any single note: a picture of your own taste. Drinqly turns it into your top styles, your favorite producers, and the drinks worth ordering again.

Alcohol or sober, your choice

Drinqly runs in two modes from the same app. The alcohol experience is built for wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. The sober experience is built for coffee, tea, matcha, boba, smoothies, kombucha, and mocktails, with its own fields and its own feed. You can use Drinqly purely for one, purely for the other, or switch between them. Nothing about the journal assumes you are drinking alcohol, which is the part most drink apps get wrong.

Who it is for

People who want to remember what they drink

You do not need to be a sommelier or a coffee obsessive. Drinqly is for anyone who has ever wished they could remember the name of that one great cocktail. In practice, that tends to be:

What Drinqly is not

The name causes some confusion, so it is worth being clear about what Drinqly is not.

Not to be confused with

Not a delivery service. Drinqly does not sell, ship, or deliver drinks. If you are thinking of Drizly, the alcohol-delivery service, that is a different thing entirely. Drinqly never touches a transaction; it just remembers what you drank.

Not a wine-only or beer-only app. Drinqly is not a Vivino or an Untappd for a single category. Its whole point is breadth: one journal that holds wine, cocktails, coffee, and everything else, side by side.

Not a recipe or bartending app. It does not teach you to make drinks. It is a record of the ones you actually had.

Is it free, and how do I get it?

Drinqly is free to use. Logging drinks, adding photos, rating, following friends, and browsing venues cost nothing. There is an optional subscription, Plus, that unlocks deeper personal analytics and extra leaderboards, but the journal itself is free and unlimited. You can get Drinqly on iPhone through the App Store, or use the web version at drinqly.io/app.

Common questions

What is Drinqly?
Drinqly is a social drink journal app. You check in each drink you have, alcohol or not, rate it, add a photo and notes, and it keeps a searchable history of everything you have tried, plus a friends feed and venue discovery. It is a journal for what is in your glass, not a store or a delivery service.
Is Drinqly the same as Drizly?
No. Drizly was an alcohol delivery and e-commerce service, a way to buy and receive drinks. Drinqly does not sell or deliver anything. It is a journal and social app for logging the drinks you have. The names sound alike but they do completely different things.
Is Drinqly free?
Yes. You can log unlimited drinks, add photos, rate them, follow friends, and browse venues for free. An optional subscription called Plus adds deeper analytics and extra leaderboards, but the core journal is free.
What can you log on Drinqly?
Everything you drink. Wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits on the alcohol side, and coffee, tea, matcha, boba, smoothies, kombucha, and mocktails in sober mode. Each type has details that fit it, like producer and ABV for a spirit, or roast and milk for a coffee.
Is Drinqly only for alcohol?
No. Drinqly has a full sober mode for coffee, tea, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic drinks. Use it purely for alcohol, purely for sober drinks, or switch between the two. The same journal, feed, and discovery work in both.
How do you get Drinqly?
Drinqly is on iPhone through the App Store, and there is a web version at drinqly.io. You sign in, pick whether you are using it for alcohol or sober drinks, and start checking in what you drink.
